🪵 About 85th & Rust
Hey there — I’m Amanda, and I’m so glad you found your way here.
I’m the hands, heart, and sawdust behind 85th & Rust — a little dream that grew into a small business built on reclaimed wood, creativity, and a whole lot of faith. I believe in making things that feel real — pieces with grain, knots, quirks, and charm. The kind of things that make a house feel like home.
Every item I create is made with care and intention. Around here, we value character over perfection and stories over trends. I want each piece to be something that means something to you — whether it’s a welcome sign, a custom gift, or something to bring a bit of warmth to your space.
This journey wouldn't be what it is without the steady hand of God leading me through every season. His grace, provision, and peace are the roots of this business. I give Him thanks for every idea, every customer, and every chance to create something meaningful.
I also have to give a big shoutout to my husband — the one behind the heavy lifting (literally). He's the muscles and the know-how behind reclaiming old barns, homes, and whatever weathered wood we can find. And to our kids: my son, for being endlessly patient when meals come second to sanding, and my daughter, whose imagination might just outpace mine if I’m not careful.
I love what I do. I love my family. And I love the God who gave me both.
Thanks for being here — it truly means the world.
With gratitude,
Amanda
